Since 1970 the League's purpose has been to promote informed and active participation of citizens in government. While the League studies and then takes action on a wide variety of governmental issues, it is firmly nonpartisan; it supports neither candidates or political parties.
Membership is open to all men and women and visitors are welcomed and encouraged to attend our events and discussion meetings. Come, observe and participate. COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update
Because of the state of emergency recently declared by Gov. Evers and our state League's position on not holding group events, we am asking that any group events that were scheduled for presentation will need to be cancelled.
This includes the panel discussion on redistricting slated for March 19 at the library, and the voter forums on March 25-26. Watch this space for any changes, as they seem to occur daily.
